What size AC unit do I need for my room?
Sizing depends on room dimensions, ceiling height, sun exposure, and insulation. As a rough guide: a 12,000 BTU unit suits rooms up to ~400 sq ft, an 18,000 BTU unit up to ~600 sq ft, and a 24,000 BTU unit up to ~900 sq ft.
